Kmx X-type

Any idea what a 21-speed KMX x-type would be worth?.. not much used when I did use it and I'll get it serviced before the sale... fitted with bar end shifters cos the twist grips were useless

Ok... sounds sensible, they're pretty heavy and KMX built it down to a price in the first place (lets face it it was a quarter the cost of any other low slung recumbent at the time)

If it is in very good condition I see no reason why you should not ask for £400
Sorry to have to say this but most people that buy “top end trike's” are for the snob value and wouldn't be seen on anything less, I love my KMX and to me it is worth £2000 because that's how much I have spent on it.

I agree with Mr nuts £400 is a good starting point , now the weather is improving, its the right time to sell , you can drop the price but can't go up.

It's a 24-speed, would be an easy upgrade to fit better components to the crank and back end to get a wide-ratio 2-by-11 22-speed,.. I specced it with bar end shifters from the off as the twist grips were just an excuse for feeding your hands to the front wheels.

Could have done with a clean before posting it for sale though as if it's clean it looks like it's been well looked after/maintained.
