Hi All,
Many thanks for the varying feedback - all very much appreciated & valued.
In hindsight, I should probably not have yelled at the driver, I certainly shouldn't have stopped directly in front (this wasn't intended as a provocation, but I can see it could have been construed as such) & I definitely shouldn't have swung at the car.
None of the ensuing actions of the driver would have happened had I cycled on by.
I appreciate that people using a car in such aggressive/potentially violent way shouldn't be allowed to do so with impunity, but given my reaction to the driver leaving the scene, I don't think I'm in a position to pursue it.
Bike should be repaired (& serviced - it was overdue anyway) by Thursday, back on the saddle by Friday!
Thanks again for the replies/advice/feedback/criticism.
:-)
