Know it all bus driver !!!!

DONE IT !!!! Sent a little note via the web site not naming and shaming but explaining what happened.As said previous,bus drivers are normally the ones i prefer being around because they do give room and overtake very well when they can.,i have noted that in the e-mail.
If it gets nasty,then i will blame the big boys in the cycle club that made me do it

Well done. I think each of us has a responsibility to follow these things up - you could have just saved someone in future serious injury or worse.

Had as similar on Southampton Road at lights, woman asked why I wasn't on the cycle path.

Pointed out that even if i wished to use it that it was usually blocked further on. At next set of light drew up beside her and asked if she had seen Hendy's car transporter unloading cars onto the cycle track?

She ignored me for some reason.

You should try that with the taxi drivers in Nottingham. I can't remember the last time I took a taxi here and not only had to pull out google maps to show them, but also explain how a map works.

Once I got into a taxi, told him the street I wanted to go to - he asked me how to spell it (it was a funny name), said I didn't know and no I didn't know the post code either, so he told me to get out!

Brighton has the same arrangement, and, yes, the bus drivers think they know what's what.

Normally I find bus drivers very good, but if one isn't I email the bus reg number and location, with a description of the problem, to the operations manager.

It always gets a courteous reply, and the same driver, next time you see them, seems to have mendesd their ways.
