Assuming no engineering works, very good. About 6 trains per hour to London, Victoria or London Bridge. Relaxed attitude to bikes.

Maybe, just maybe, you'll see me at Crawley as the trains are tricky to get in to London early on a Sunday. I could ride to Crawley and see you, then go to Brighton, then ride home. Very weather dependent though.

I'd stand by that, although I've never done it in the wet, and would worry about the brakes on the old crocks if it were wet.

The people in (or on) the cars are usually blue with cold, but manage to stay cheerful. And welcoming.
