Well thanks for your advice everyone. I have just got back from La Boheme. We got the cheap seats a tenner each and it was the bargain of the century. Awesome. Great singing, wonderful orchestra, nice choccy ice cream at half time. I'm a convert!

There's nothing like a live performance, play, concert, opera, musical whatever to take your mind away to another place for a while!
Really glad you enjoyed it.
Hope you'll check-out other similar events and enjoy them equally much.

off topic but how long is Carmina Burana ? does it fit on 1 or 2 Cds ?

If they do it properly it should take exactly one hour. "...hac in hora..." as they sing near the end of "O fortuna"
