The stage that stands out to me is the Ayuso long range attack up that 1 hour climb .....stage 7 .... That was a hell of a solo effort

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
I wonder what Jonas' (and Pog's) GT plans for next year will be.

Jonas doesn't have a pink jersey (and has never done the Giro) Tadej doesn't have a red jersey (but does have a Vuelta white jersey from 2019)

I cant see Tadej doing the Vuelta, he only did it in 2019 as he hadn't done the TdeF. Given he is big into the Spring classics and will almost certainly ride the Tour, that doesn't sit will with doing the Vuelta and not being completely knackered for the Worlds.

But the closeness of the Giro and the classics, and risk of being knackered for the Tour, kind of argues against him doing the Giro. But it didn't stop him.

I think he may well want to visit Spain to get a souvenir jersey (just like Eddy) sometime.

That is true, but he did less classics that year and was it a one-off "lets try and do the Giro Tour double"?

Maybe if the Worlds course one year doesn't look too suited to him then he might have a crack at the Vuelta or god forbid illness / injury / crash takes him out of the Tour one year.

Surely he'll want the full set of GTs on his palmares before he slows down? Next year looks as good a bet as any especially if Vinny is doing the Giro/Tour double.
