Looked up the climb in Simon Warren's Spain100 climbs book and I see he ranks it as a 10/10.

Just looking at the profile before the stage confirmed it was savage. In racing terms it's far better than Angliru, because it is -just- possible to attack, it's not just a mountain TT done in a group.

Average speed of the race after each stage. This make it look like a perfectly paced hour record attempt

Obviously, all the lines will flatten as each additional stage becomes a smaller percentage of the whole, so as a graph it doesn't actually tell us much

Dunno, at least the winner won more definitively.

The worst would have been for the GC race to have dribbled over the line with Vinny losing time but keeping red.

Although the niggling at UAE for going for the stage wins would have been louder and might have become entertaining.
