Onley into 4th and podium in sight. Great ride from Buitrago too who was picking up KoM points in the break but got a top 10 finish and even tried attacking a few times.

For a cyclist used to coming 2nd at the Vuelta this is brilliant for Enric Mas. I love how Pogačar's withdrawl has created a whole different dynamic to the race. La Vuelta is always inspiring since it always gives you new ideas on where to cycle in Spain, not sure i'll climb or be allowed to that military road at the end.

Yes, Vuelta Asturias back in April.

For some reason I just can’t access this site until now. Same as yesterday.
Anyhow just to say that I enjoyed the last 9km that I got to watch. Not so much cat and mouse as can I keep these watts up?
It’s definitely all still up for grabs and any one could have a good/bad day at anytime or place.

It feels like a while since we’ve see riders yo-yoing at the front in the closing stages rather than just disappearing into the distance
