Not sure if I'm being unfair but Ethan Hayter seems to have been a bit more proactive than usual in this race.
Can't help wondering if it's because his contract is up this year

Think they were lucky it was dry. Maybe in rain the rest of the course would have been more selective.

Almost looked like Visma had a practice drill for the lead out about 3kms out, knocked it in the head then came back in the last k.

Haven't seen an overhead but it looked fairly comprehensive from the finish line camera.

Today confirmed what I thought yesterday. Brennan is currently head and shoulders the best sprinter, so Visma should go with him at every opportunity. Meanwhile Wout can secure the points jersey.
Yesterday’s finish left them short of Laporte, otherwise it today could have been number four.
I also saw a middle hour of the ToB.
