That looks great, but I don't have the money right now. I spent what I had on a new guitar.....

It looks like I'll be going next summer if my health permits, so have some more time to save up.

Look for German sit up and beg bikes, they have a number of different models that have a U shaped 'step through' frames, so very low to the ground, I assume with the leg lifting issue in mind

Sorry to hear of your illness Thistler, chap down here in Cornwall did the End to End towing a trailer with a Raleigh Chopper so I don't think a ladies bike would be a problem

I saw a photo of this guy [ must have been him] in a b and b in Wick last week...can't be be many who have done this on a Chopper?
