I moved most of our hose by bike, as it was about a mile

We would clear a room into the trailer., move it round and then unpack inthe evenings

Then took a half day hire on a transit for the beds and sofas, freezer etc

Everything else including Tv, washing machine fridge etc went by. Bile

On the Eddie Stobart Trucks programme they showed a convoy of the trucks driving over the Millau Viaduct in France for a photo shoot.

It gave me the idea that when Arch moves in with me she will need to do a house move from York to Manchester and we could replicate the Eddie Stobart Millau Viaduct photo opportunity by having a load of CC (and YACF) members on bike and trikes all pulling trailers over the Scammonden Bridge over the M62.

It is a bit more then a few miles though.
Got a Brox that can be used, if needed. 40 miles in under five hours. Irlam to home

I'd love to add a Brox, or similar, to my stables.

Wot, like the one we need to get rid of.........................

Arch, I'm sure you remember when we moved CM by pedal power. Well, the lift wasn't pedal power and it was only 200 yards, but we still did (most) of it without using a vehicle.

I've twice moved using a bike. Took two trips, as I recall. I had less stuff then.
Now it would take half a dozen trips just to move the bikes...
