I've been about half a dozen times, out of season, and reckon the winter months are the best for cycling. It can be windy in the late autumn, and you may get a bit of rain now and then, but it will still be like a spring day. And 10 deg warmer than home - which matters!

You can get round the whole island in a week, but it's still one of Europe's better places to pamper your bike. Excellent road surfaces, minimal traffic and stunning scenery.
