Large cruise ship

Erm, I think the Queen Victoria was built after it, AND they are in the middle of building the Queen Elizabeth too.

Might not be as big as the QM, but they certainly are still building Queens!

To a lower quality....and they are hardly Cunard Queens anymore

I would love to go on a cruise but can't afford to at present.

I'm always reminded of my uncle who claims if he won the lottery, he would go on cruises around the world until the money ran out and then jump overboard.

I'm sure a cruise would be nice but whenever I see one of these monsters all I can think is "Norovirus, norovirus, norovirus..."

That would be the Crown Princess. Bigger cruise ships are available.

The Oasis of the Seas is almost exactly double the gross tonnage of the Crown Princess. She is absolutely huge....

The only large ship I’ve been on is an OCL container ship I had to design and make a piston clamp for her new engines
I did have lunch on board with the chief engineer which was very nice

I took a trip to NY on the QM2, it was good fun on the way out, good excuse to dress up and drink/eat. Though I was glad we were flying home, once was long enough! I couldn't do weeks on end.
