I've bought a pear tree. It's 6 ft tall and could reach 12 ft in 5 years. I've planted it in 40 litres of compost. I said i wanted a tall "plant",now i have one!

Well we'll see. What's the difference between it being outside and inside,if the conditions are similar? It may not bear the same amount of fruit but why wont it survive?
