the Waggoner Ranch in Texas is up for grabs for $750 million, it's over 510,000 acres. It's bigger than Greater London. So if you fancy a piece of prime US real estate you're in luck. Looks good to me and I've only got to save up another $750 million dollars if I fancy buying it.

If we use 4046 sq/m per acre and allow a cost of £250 per sq/m for a decent hardwood decking then you need to budget at about £515,865,000,000 for the cost of materials.

seriously, why piss around with something the size of London, when you can get something the size of Belgium for less money? Total parcel is nearly the size of England for half the above money.

Though the cost of decking will really add up.
