I wear reading glasses and think I'll stick with them. Surgery is quite expensive and I'm worried in case something goes wrong.
Thanks Phil
The trouble is, it doesn't seem to fix them "once and for all".Had it? Liked it?
I'm considering fixing the old peepers once and for all and a mate of mine has just got his done (admittedly at a VERY expensive place that I wouldn't dream of going to, primarily because I don't have 3 and a half big ones!)
You're mate is obviously the sensible one.
Cheap eye laser surgery? You want to take a gamble with your eyesight?
I know someone who used to work in the industry. He said there is only one specialist in London he would ever consider, and he is expensive. As @ianrauk says is it really something you'd want to scrimp on!
How old are you and how poor is your eyesight?
The trouble is, it doesn't seem to fix them "once and for all".
A mate of mine had his eyes done a few years ago and he was happy with the results, although his sight still wasn't perfect. He is now finding that his sight is beginning to go a bit off again.
His wife got her eyes lazered abouf 8 months ago and is far from happy with the results.. They spent the best part of £5k between them.
My sight is not great, having gone downhill in the last 8 years or so. I will stick with glasses or contact lenses.
It didn't give her anything like the degree of improvement to her vision that she was hoping for. Apparently with some people lazer treatment just doesn't work, and she would appear to be one of the unlucky ones. What happened with your mate's wife? How was it bad?
