This month's PC Pro A-List Printer for medium duty / light office use is a Dell!
Funnily enough, I do not want a Dell printer but does anyone use a single pass colour laser for their work? Any recommendations out there so that I can target research effectively? Lovely image quality, rapid and economical would be good for starters...
Thank you in advancimus.

Dunno what make it is, but the one at work just had new cartridges bought for it. £150 for a set.
Might be an idea to have a look at consumable prices as well as the initial cost.

i once had a printer that broke, and I phoned up the manufacturer (lexmark i think it was) and they just straight away asked for my address.
I was a bit confused, but they wanted my address because they simply wanted to send me a new one straight away. They weren't even interested in what was wrong with it or obtaining proof of purchase or warranty period or anything like that.
Printers (possibly to a greater extent, cheap(er) ones) are obviously a loss-leader for printer cartridges.
It's also a known fact that there is an inverse correlation between cost of printer and cost of cartridges, i.e.generally the cheaper the cartridges, the more expensive the printer.
