the DOLE

2 weeks in Alanya. Look what happens when you turn your back for 5 minutes
I'd only been here a couple days and i got a text from a friend..'is it true then ???' (he didnt know i was abroard)
Oh bugger....i feared i knew exactly what he meant, its been hard at my employers for the last 2 or 3 years, i went on holiday on the Friday, they went into administration on the Monday.

What will be will be but i'm slightly gutted i'm going to be 2 weeks behind everyone else trying to get a job. The company will have been sorting pensions, jobs for people, who to contact, when etc etc..ive missed a whole load of stuff going on.
Ah well, suns shining here, off to work on Monday (its closing today) to see if the administrators are there so i can collect all my tools and personal belongings...which just happens to include my cheapo single speed, wheels and bike tools.

That's gutting. Good luck in moving on.

Of course, Turkey has a growing economy, isn't in recession and has good weather. Just stay!
