Last minute (christmas) shopping anyone??

No paper plates in Morrisons. On to the next one. This is exactly how i wanted to spend my Saturday afternoon

Where is the money coming from? Aren't we supposed to be struggling financially?

There is plenty of money about, just not shared about equally.

We had a stroll down to the Narborough Road, saw off a kebab lunch then picked up some hummus, olives and a flatbread from the Mediterranian supermarket.

Done.

Update from our local Asda, from whence we have just returned.

Car park about 95% full. Shop not especially manic, but we were only popping in for some extra milk and white bread.

Queues at tills only 1or 2 people deep. No chaos or confusion. But the family curry banquet meal boxes were sold out, so we had to buy a selection of individual curry bits for tonight's family dinner......

I nipped into Tesco for a lime. I couldn't help but notice that they had litres of Gordons at £16 a pop. It seemed a shame to resist.

I’ve still got a bottle from last year.

And Irish Cream, and Brandy and Jaegermeister.
