FYI currrent drawn is 1.27 A so with my 3800 mAH NiMH, hsould give a theoretical running time of 3 ours - that is 4 journeys worth.
Tried to get some photos to do comparison - had to use manual mode to fix exposure in order to give a proper comparison.
Not sure if the photos are representative since the Halogen lamps look very poor in comparison, they seem better in real life.
before and after photos, a lot better I think you'd agree (phots may be aback to front but you'll work it out!)
