Bianchi have a 2009 range ready in October according to the LBS i was in yesterday. So...if I wait until October and then buy the 2008 model I should save around a £ton right???

The 2008s should start being on sale over the summer - there are always quite a few Bianchis around. You can either save a lot or spend the same and get something ever better. However it's not guarranteed that you'll find what you really want in the size you want...

At least. Some £1000 models might even go for £700-£800 but I guess it will depend how much the range has changed. If it's just a new paint job you might not save that much, but it'll be something.

Question is, can you really wait until October?

pretty much all manufaturers sell the next years bikes around september time.
