Ugh this thread reminds me i need to dig the garden over. Don't have a lawn use all of our garden on growing veg. However I have neglected it and it's turned into a meadow.

Lordy, don't dig it over, that just invites the need for weeding! We put down sheets of cardboard held down by mushroom compost, will be lovely by spring.

Because it's cruely towards lawn mowers .... i'm reporting you to the RSPCLM
