A few mates and I are thinking of signing up for this ride this year and were wondering if anybody has done it before and what its like?

I might do the 45 mile route ,its a fantastic route in lovely surroundings ,it takes in some decent climbs as well ,the ride up to the Bowland Knotts is double chevroned in parts.

Last time I rode over the Trough of Bowland - in the rain, which it does a lot - I was overtaken by the tail end of a time trial up there. It's a very lumpy part of the world. "Going backwards" doesn't come close. :smile:

2 new routes for next year added to the existing 45miler.
There is a 97 mile route- le terrier sauvage and a shorter route of approx 68 miles.
