Leeds cyclist dies....

    .....after he was found injured by Otley Chevin Forest Park.

    An investigation is underway after the death of a cyclist who was found injured near Otley Chevin Forest Park.

    The 66-year-old man from Leeds was found injured in East Chevin Road on Friday, February 8.

    West Yorkshire Police says he 'later died' but has not released anymore details.

    The force has launched an investigation and officers are appealing for witnesses and information.

    A police spokesman said: "Officers are appealing for anyone who saw how the cyclist came to be injured in the road and anyone with dash cam footage of the incident, or who witnessed it, or were nearby at the time, are asked to ring police on 101 and quote 'log 1078 of Friday, February 8'."

    Terrible. I hope that they are able to piece together what exactly happened and who if anyone was involved. Rip.
