decided that it is not shin splits and probably just pulled the muscle a weee bit more than it should or twisted it somewhere it shouldn't go as after a fairly relaxing day of lifting some not too heavy crates of plants it is all back to normal
thanks for the help though!

@Easytigers yes it is tough work! not anything for the clean city slicker types
@T4tomo nope not Welsh round here in kent! farming the Welsh Lleyn sheep from the Welsh Lleyn peninsula (Lleyn is pronounced Clin as it is Welsh )
