Itching to get back on my bike's
- Location
- Northamptonshire
I have decided rather than let this hang from the rafters all winter , i would rather somebody else enjoy it more .
So i am selling my Legnano it's a fantastic bike to ride imho and hope somebody else wants it enough to take it off my hands .
Its 58cm or 22 3/4" from centre of the crank to centre of the seat pinch bolt and 56 cm or 22" along the top tube ctc and 83cm or 32 1/2" standover height . And is set for me at 5ft 10" in pics .
Falck tubing so nice and light but not ultra light feels stiff and and precise , nice cut away lugs , rear drop outs are Campagmolo Portacatena's that were around from the late 70's to early 80's so that must have been when it was made . Fork crown is chromed which is in fair condition considering its age , nice aqua marine green paintwork with some age related marks but no dents and crack although some paint loss on rear brake bridge .
Fitted with a super stylish Campagnolo Strada 3 arm crank , odd shifters , Shimano 600 fr & rear mechanisms operate the 2 x 5 gear system that is nice and smooth in operation . 700c Mavic module e rims laced to Shimano hubs fitted with less than 200 mile old Mavic Yksion tyres .
Campagnolo head set freshly cleaned and re greased , 3ttt 110 mm stem and matching bags fitted with weinmann levers that operate weinmann type 605 calipers fr & rr that are fitted with new pads . Cinelli bottle cage .
Please note selle smp saddle and the shimano clip in pedals will not be included in the sale .
Asking £400 collected from Welling nn8 postcode or could be sent via parcel force to most uk post codes for an extra £27.50 .
this is a superb rare Italian bike that you dont see many of at all .
