I have one of those self-cooling coolboxes. 12v 0.25A rated.

I also have one of those solar trickle charger panels - which is knocking out 13v when the sun is out.

But the box won't run - not enough amps I guess, no way to measure.

Is there anything I can do about this? Anyone run one of these off solar?

Any way of telling how much it will top up the car battery if I trickle charge whilst running the box?

It wouldn't run for too long with the engine switched off so it wouldn't flatten your battery.

Not sure of what the cutout voltage was.

Hmmm - cleaver. I wonder if you can get the voltage control bit separately...
