so do i just register then pay on the day?
I usually send cash in the envelope along with the registration. But there's really no need to register - you can just show up and pay on the day.

... followed immediately by the wee slope/gentle incline  that is Cadger's Brae  ....
Oi!:stop: I'm the onl one who's allowed to understate the severity of hills!

Done cadgers brae when i done the st andrews sportive last year, you sit at the bottom of it and you can see it ramping straight up in front of you...wouldn`t fancy doing it on a fully belly

They do but the last time I done it I cycled back to Dunfermline and another time (when the weather was poor) I cycled back to Glenrothes (Thorton) and got the train back to the Town.

Suppose if i start cycling back and feel like i really cant make it then ill just beg for a lift of a family member

... and when one has just re-filled all the water bottles too !

When I did the ride a couple of years ago, there was a certain CC member who, I am still convinced, was texting while he rode up it

... though it might just have been his 'fatigue' position on the bike

It's usually rather awkward or impossible to find the on-line registration

Many of us have a look at the weather forecast and roll up and register on the day.

There was a CCer who pre-registered last year - and had the delight of riding into a howling NE wind, with rain aplenty and probably hail, ice and snow :cold: all the way to St Andrews ...

They make 'em tough in Scandanoovia ....
