That did cross my mind but I suspect they can do a stock check, at least that's what I am hoping. I always pay for anything over £100 with my credit card because I once read if there is a problem they will step in and sort it, so worse case scenario is that I hand the problem over to them.
The serial no on the box should match that of the camera on display... hopefully

Good luck anyway

Praticka was bombproof and worth every single penny. I dropped it once, down a cliff and it was fine.
I did the same thing to a Zenit-E, also fine. 30 years later, my dad pulled it out of the attic and sent it to me. I put a roll of film through it and it was as good as ever.

Now now. I had a fabulous Practika set up (Inbetween my beloved Canons) as it was what I could afford at the time and that Praticka was bombproof and worth every single penny. I dropped it once, down a cliff and it was fine. It bounced a few times and had a soft landing in the middle of someone's picnic spread. It had a couple of dings on it but it still took great pics. It didn't break.

I love my MTL5B

Whats one of them then...?

I still have 2 film camers. My old Canon T70 - the bees knees back in the day for those who couldn't afford a T90 (like me) and a Canon EOS somethingorother auto focus jobbie.
Hubster bought me a lifetime supply of film a few years back. 12 rolls. I'm half way through the first. Digital is just so easy!!

I once did things in reverse. I took my daughter's phone into an O2 branch to be repaired or replaced under warrantee and opened the box to find only the charger and lead. She'd taken the phone out to play one last game and never got around to putting it back before I departed for O2.

She took it in herself a week later when she realised that my refusal to go back was real and not a wind up.

Hey! I never implied that Prakticas were bad (my dad had one back in the 80s), just that they were inexpensive.
