Don't hang it in direct sunlight as carbon has a tendency to turn brittle and turn to dust, If you're worried about this, send the bike to me for a few months (12 will do) and I'll make sure it's immune to sunlight ;)

hi Norman, thanks for your concerns I dont keep the sun (what sun by the way??) in the garage!

For gods sake make sure you get plenty of use out of it before the use by date expires :giggle:

Only kidding ^_^ ................... nice looking bike that

I will do believe me, cant wait it's warmer then ill take it for extra long rides but now is too cold for me, Im a wimp in cold weather so it will be short spins for the next 2-3 months! If I had to ride it now I would have to dig out my old motorbike stuff complete with full face helmet!

thanks Colin
Actually I went on a nice ride yesterday, and they dont touch unless I really went low with my back which feels very unnatural... the ride is wonderfully smooth, so happy with it!

Welcome to the world of Carbon.
Soon you will start to hear and recognise your bikes resonant hum, just like a contented cat purring..

oh yess I remember reading about it here somewhere, I was in quite country lanes (everyone was at work soooo nice  just getting to know her, the gearing etc and listening out but could not hear any purring, maybe she'll get more affectionate as we get closer

Went cycling on the spur of your comment, roads where wet but when I got home the bike wasn't too dirty at all, put her belly up and cleaned her with baby wipes (so easy). So pleased to have done it, cant wait for another ride!

really nice bike. enjoy it.

Nice bike. Though why the bitch ? I have never understood why people call bikes 'she' , ?

I read a post recently and it sounded like a porn site though it was only a review for a bike lol

I must, must, must stop torturing myself looking at these lovely Cube road bikes  especially CARBON !!

I just know it'll end in one type of pain or another - divorce and/or debt; or a kick in the proverbials for not waiting promised year since last purchase.
