Been away for a while and saw that nobody has posted any new lyrics so.......

"Billy rapped all night about his suicide,
How he'd kick it in the head when he was twenty-five..."

Easy enough.

all the young dudes.

saw Ian Hunter at a festival recently and a small child had a t-shirt with "a very young dude" on the back. very cool.

"Diary of a Rock and Roll Star" by Mr. I. Hunter is one of the best books on the subject, and laugh out loud in places!

Don't know if there are any lyrics still outstanding so here's my suggestion...

"Good heavens Miss South America; you're BEAUTIFUL!"

There's a bonus point if you can name who sings(?) the line

Magnus Pyke in Thomas Dolby's, "She blinded m e with science". I think it's Sakamoto, not S. America. I didn't like the song at the time, but it seems reasonably amusing now, coupled with the vid:

A mates a big fan of them and is always playing them.

"Where are you walking, I've seen you walking
Have you been there before?"

A bit more difficult perhaps?

I left alone, my mind was blank
I needed time to think to get the memories from my mind
What did I see, could I believe
That what I saw that night was real and not just fantasy

Number of the Beast by Iron Maiden.

Have recently managed to get hold of a fair bit of their music and have to say that I really like it - should I be ashamed??

Hmmm a new lyric for the masses....

"Stare at the beautiful women... she's looking at you. Ahh no, no, she's looking at me"

The Cure: Killing an Arab.

Here's one:
Making love to the Mersey Tunnel
With a sausage. Have you ever been to Liverpool?
Please don't talk much it burns my ears
Tonight you've talked for a thousand years
