I love the buzz when someone has a go at me, and never take it personally.. even an old git like myself can learn from others ( even if they are in the wrong )

If people want to watch or comment on your videos, they will do so on youtube. Because they are subscribed to you or because they are interested in looking at cycling videos and just browsing.
Note that most of us that create videos, do not post our own here.

Matthew, there's plenty of good advice on this thread, in particular don't take things personally. Folk will disagree with you, it would be a funny old world if we didn't, but when it starts to become personal you know they've run out of options. There's a saying, play the ball not the man.
As for bullies they exist in all walks of life, whether it's in the real world or on internet forums although on- line it can take more subtle forms. The thing with bullies though is that they are the ones with the problem. They are usually insecure people who like to bully others to either curry favour with those they see as pack leaders or to compensate for some sort of deficiency within themselves.
People who are confident in themselves have no need to belittle others.

I've just come in on this and spent most of my lunch break reading. As a newish member I agree that most threads on here are either very useful, or are the type that make me think "oh, so this doesn't only happen to me?". On every part of the internet, on every forum, there will always be some negative posts which may be intentionally negative. just like recently, I bought a six pack of pears and one of them was bruised and slushy. I still buy pears though.
Matthew - my wife is autistic too so I know (even in person) that tone, humour, sarcasm etc can either be mis-interpreted or not picked up on at all. It is still virtually impossible, even for those without autism, to understand the tone of every piece of text written. I'd suggest a good comprimise would be to carry on posting your videos but just don't comment on them yourself. Might be interesting to see what other people think of them first, if they are left with a free reign?
