It's organised through the co op but using a local woodland burial site. As a family we have always used the co op for funerals.

My wife’s funeral cost £2700 nearly 7 years ago but a headstone was about £1500 I think and the purvey after was a couple of hundred. This was using the local undertaker and he had only one style of coffin in stock which was ok. The local minister officiated very well for a donation.
When my son died in Aberdeen the cremation was pretty similar in cost but the purvey was more expensive as the whole College department turned out as well as lots of other friends. I chose a Saturday cremation to allow all who wanted to be able to attend the service. The ashes were scattered at his mother’s grave and the headstone suitably amended for a couple of hundred pounds.
The costs some quote seem to be pretty high.
