I opted for overkill.

I have a hope 1 on the bike, a fenix ld20 on my helmet. A blackburn mars 4 and cateye ld 600 bring up the rear.

I commute on urban roads and across the odd bit of grass, but I don't want SMIDSY to be an excuse in the dark.

I wouldn't call that overkill at all...

Have found some Smart 1/2 watt rears for £8.99 (shame I missed the Halfords offer) so will be ordering x2 of those for the rear (thanks for the advice everyone!). Have seen some RSP Asteri 6's for £74 and am tempted. Has anyone got any of these? Any good?
