I'm looking for bike friendly routes between Limehouse and Canary Wharf primarily and West Ham and Canary Wharf as a back up route. If anyone has any information, resource, etc. to plan this it would be appreciated. I have moved jobs recently and I have safe bike storage at my home station 2 miles from home but I'm starting to get fat from not cycling any great distance. I need to increase my miles and start taking the bike(s) on the train again to reduce the waistband. Thanks!

Well knock me down with a feather... welcome back Chris. Nice to see you back on here.

And from Limehouse to Canary Wharf it's the Westferry Road that goes straight in there does it not?

Thanks mate. That's just it, I dunno. So i'll need to look at a map for starters.....I'm just lazy.

But the West Ham route is a distinct longer possibility and I'm seeking out routes I can use on my bike for the Olympics period next year when I'm envisaging I won't even be able to get near the tube or DLR. I will have the possibility of working early shifts (from 6.00 am or 7.00 am) at that time which will make bike commuting at that time probably quite pleasant.

Have you not thought about getting off at Barking. The C2C trains fill up there in the mornings and you can get to CS3 straight to Canary Wharf.

Don't forget no bikes on trains which are scheduled to arrive at Fenchurch Street between 7:00 (I think) and 9:30
