The Met Office has predicted the worst storms in 144 years are to rip through the county in the next three months.

The storms are set to hit Lincolnshire in a matter of days with a Super El Nino on its way.

In the next 30 day forecast experts have predicted rain and gale force winds to sweep across northern and western parts, and after this a mobile westerly weather airflow is predicted to dominate the weather. This will bring windy conditions with rain at times and a continuing risk of gales.

A met office report has warned of more than one foot and a half of rain falling across the UK which will cause floods and freezing -14 degrees temperatures are set to take hold until early 2016.

Brrrrr! that does not look good.

I've never been more relieved to have moved out to the next county; really dodged a bullet there, I think. ^_^

Isn't the Lincolnshire Echo part of the Mail empire? They seem to have strayed into Express territory with this story, even quoting that rag at one point.

The met office are notoriously poor at predicting weather in Holland and the fens since the cuts that saw the Norwich staff set up WeatherQuest.
