Yesterday my main frame went down, no video at all I tested both outputs.
I then when and dug out a retro 2 core of about 1.8 g h and got that to boot, so far so good.
Scott'y my chief engineer, then took the video card from the wreck and put it in the Twin core, we connected it to the TV and low and behold it worked.
Now I've got high res big screen, we're now cooking with gas.
I then said “what if” “hi laddie it might work”
said Scott'y removing the hard drive from the wreck.
I am running OpenSuse Leap 14 .1 on a sata3 drive.
It was put into the twin core and the button was pressed.
All you have to do now is imagine a roll of drums.
Anxiety, tension, paws sweating and that was only the Cat.
It began to go through boot every now and again
it would pause and come up with a message, like;
“I wasn't expecting that” But I was getting no panic messages so hopes began to rise.
After last message complaining about the BIOS it booted up.
Linux is a very robust system, my complements to the Engineers.

All my bookmarks were working Bar One, guess which that one is, that's right Cycle Chat.
So I've put this down to a deliberate act of cruelty by Shaun; I will try again later.

This leaves me with the wreck, is it the board or has a piston,
gone through the side of the bulldozer core?
I think think the best way forward is to get a new board.
Can anybody recommend a board with AMD3 socket with usb3 and SATA III.
All that seems too be left out there are just expensive gaming boards.

So I can get back to patrolling the Galaxy kicking Arse and taking names.

All that effort and you could have probably solved the problem by turning it off and on again.
