Lisbon cycling?

Hey guys I've booked a 4 day trip for me and my partner next month. Staying in an apartment in Lisbon and wondered if there were many cycling routes around there and whether it would be worth renting a couple of bikes for a few days? Anybody got any tips/routes/cycle hire shops/ prices?

There are cycle routes in Lisbon (see https://cycle.travel/map for example) but there are also steep cobbled hills. A ride along the shore towards Belem could be nice. Further afield I don't know. Based on what I've seen in Lisbon and ridden in the Algarve, I'd expect UK-style cycle routes: a mix of the great and the awful. I'd still rent a bike, though.
