Little tiny pocket near hip on cycling jersey?

I've got like a little tiny pocket near my hip area on my cycling jersey, barely big enough to fit a key in and I was just wondering if anyone else has one of these and knows what it is? The jersey was bought from Tenn Outdoors sometime ago and I originally just dismissed it as a design fault but I've became curious as to whether it was just that or whether it's for something,

I've got small zipped pockets on my Octane and Sprint jerseys from Tenn Outdoors.The one on the Sprint is very handy, as it's large enough for a phone and some change. The pocket on the Octane is smaller and it's not easy getting a phone in there. Sounds like yours is smaller still, so I guess it's just for loose change.
