Little wheels off the beaten track

Aim to go for longish ride this Saturday. taking the train from Newcastle or maybe Wylam, jumping off at Brampton with the Dahon Presto lite. The Brompton at Brampton sounds more alliterate but it's too new and might scream at the abuse it would have inflicted upon it. Head north to Bewcastle with its' surreal Anglo saxon cross and church - then a bit further north turn sharp right which should be east and follow a few tracks through Spadeadham forest, avoiding the danger areas and hoping the river is fordable.. Eventually and hopefully arriving at the centre of Britain otherwise known as Haltwhistle and the train home.

Never been to north Germany sounds interesting. Never cycled rough stuff any distance with small wheels, so expect to be walking a few miles of it.
