Did a thoroughly unsatisfying ride from Warrington to Liverpool in the rain today - it really sucked, couldn't seem to shake off the dual carriageways and I was hungover to boot.

Still, 24 miles on the clock and felt pretty fresh at the end, once I'd divested myself of drenched clothing and had a shoor.

You can do that on the trans pennine trail too mate. How come you did it just one way?

Have you tried going through the back roads via widnes and onto Liverpool that way ending up in Netherley, thats a decent run and quieter roads
