I wore one for around 5 years straight, didn't take it off once. But it was removed when I had an operation and i've not put it back on since.

I was having this discussion elsewhere, regarding the livestrong kit.
It's not necessarily that folk are wearing them out of admiration of Mr Armstrong - it could well be that the Livestrong message got them through a tough time in their lives, and they wear it because of that.

Wear mine as a kinda "cycling lucky charm" believing it keeps me safe, superstitious I know but hey we need all the help we can get cycling on our unforgiving roads. We all need to "Livestrong" whilst cycling.
