That really is quite disgusting.
Not really, I just take the shower round mine after using it, clean it with cif around once a week and give it a proper bicarb scrub every so often.

Couldn't that be described as washing it out?Not really, I just take the shower round mine after using it, clean it with cif around once a week and give it a proper bicarb scrub every so often.

You're right, however not doing so isYeah I suppose, but what I mean is giving it a rinse after use isn't that disgusting...
In the case of people living alone, they of course have carte blanche to let their baths get as filthy as they like

Of course she says that. That's because she wants you to continue to do all the work. Your wife clearly isn't stupid..........
You're not a bloke - you are a domestic god!I think the type of water in your area makes a big difference to how often the bath needs cleaning!
Back in Coventry, the bath used to get pretty scummy after use because it is a 'hard water! area. It would get pretty nasty after a week or two if it were not cleaned regularly.
We have 'soft water' here in this part of Yorkshire and my bath remains pretty clean after use. I splosh a couple of jugs of hot water over it every now and then, but that is all that is required.
