My 3 children all walked or cycled to school, primary and secondary and my daughter is the sole girl out of only 4 or 5 pupils who currently cycles in.
A new estate was built on lovely fields less than half a mile away from the primary school, hardly any kids walk from it, it's incredible, the surrounding roads are clogged with aspirational cars and competitive mums, it's a sad sight. There is constant battle between the school, local residents, parking wardens and these largely lardy arsed women.
