Streetview gives you a good idea of how busy roads are. (Asssuming that the camera car didn't go along at 05:00 or 20:00 when there wasn't much traffic.) I've just plotted a mostly quiet route through Keighley and checked it on Streetview and I can see that the roads are much quieter than the usual A-road route.
