So, here's own thread for particularly dull, unexciting, or banal local news stories.

And here's one to kick off. A chap buys a brand new tumble drier, but his World came to an abrupt end when he found a used T shirt inside it.

But this is local mundane news,not the international stuff. I'm trying to find the story i saw the other week where a man broke his arm and pelvis after slipping on a crisp packet in Accrington town centre,but so far i can't find it.

Where I live the local press is full of seethe about developments to the coast and the time it takes to do them.

The latest "outrage" is that a disused police hut could be turned into a little cafe selling ice-cream. This is in Tynemouth, a relatively affluent area full of NIMBY twats, who also recently (and successfully) opposed plans to build a cycle cafe/hub near the end of the C2C route.

I've been seeing this pumped up weirdo type,wearing what looks like a tea cosy on his head, knocking about recently. He's opened a "gin bar" just down the road from where i live now. Why would you get yourself all pumped up,showing off your bare 20 inch biceps etc like he does,then go and wear a fecking tea cosy on your head?

Not to mention the wussy scarf he's wearing!
