Loch Fyne not so Fine

Haddock a poor time in my local Loch Fyne. The food was pretty good, but there was just not enough of it. Myself and mrsP, even after three courses were still a tad hungry. I had booked a table for our anniversary so had eaten very little during the day in anticipation of a blow out. A bit disappointing.

I'd never heard of Loch Fyne until I read this thread.

I've only ever eaten at the Winchester one, a couple of times and it was lovely.

That was some years ago, I think it was one of the first to open. Maybe they are over stretching themselves?

It is all down to the Chefs they employ and the manager.

The herring in Loch Fyne were "chust sublime" according to Para Handy.

For Loch Fyne, I have eaten there several times. Not cheap but excellent quality and good service. The Winchester branch where I have been is a stunning old building
