Seem to be a fair bit cheaper than Ortlieb (which I rate of course) but are they any good?

Anyone ever used them or indeed any of their stuff?

I gather that they are quite often used by the motorcycle crowd, which sounds like some sort of recommendation ...

Please note, I am looking for tough waterproof bags - not interested in the lighter weight bags which many outdoor shops seem to be pushing at folks these days. So no need for posts recomending those.

They're good value for money (Lomo sell them direct for £25 IIRC)- Polaris sell the same with their branding with an RRP of about £60!!!

However, the Polaris I had lasted about a year - front zip waterproof rubber peeled off after a few months, then the zip broke. Then some holes developed where the roll top closed.

So, not the best made bag but for £25 it would be good for a commuter.

Thanks for the replies j18 though I was thinking more of the simple tubular drybags you bungee/lash to the rack when touring. I know the latest thing is for lighter weight versions of these, but I don't trust them for my chuck them on the ground and tough bungeeing regime.

I have the rucksack amd a few of the drybags. Use them most days for commuting for the last 18 months and still good.
