Anyone know why the bridge is shoot this morning? traffic chaos, police have northbound traffic side blocked off, Going south seems ok. Can only think the worse. Looking on news channels now

lol, well i didnt see any fire engines. what ever has happened, its the north side of the bridge and the 'going north' side is closed.

I like London Bridge now as I use it for my commute in but on the way home tonight they decided to start digging up the North Side of Waterloo Bridge.Christ there seem to be roadworks everywhere.

as i said already, the underpass is closed to by pass the stand. and thus the bridge is back logged.

No, it was closed. As in, Police stopping people at the IMax end using it, and car parked on the bridge with lights flashing.

No actually the underpass was open but to get to the bit i most enjoy the juggling with buses and taxi's at the Waldorf Hotel was shut,so I had to mount the pavement and walk to the lights with the bike like a good little gal.

Nice to see there were actually some sort of workmanlike activity as I walked past.That's unusual normally there is a big hole in the road and nobody there.
