Yes , it was very quiet for me,

I couldnt work out if it was the lack of buses or the lack of cars because drivers stayed away because they thought it would be busy and it wasnt.

This was on BBC news this morning, was quite amusing, they switched to the man on the street as a red bus drove past behind him. He proceeded to tell us how this area usually has red buses but as you can see (as he points down two streets now empty of red buses) no buses today! Then as he turned back to the camera, another one drove behind him again. The guys in the studio kept a straight face.

It was way quieter on Grosvenor Place, which has probably 15 or so routes down it, most of which start and finish at Victoria.

There were only 4 routes running, and half the bus station was taped off.

Damn open top tourist buses were worse though as they were overtaking faster but still as close as ever.

I'd much rather share the road with the average TfL bus driver than with the average private motorist. ;)
It's not the average that bothers me, it's the standard deviation.
